F.Y.I
POWER Inventory: Our clients can't afford down-time, so we hold a full inventory of all the parts (rotable and consumable) associated with our engines. We can arrange AOG delivery direct to your MRO unless you'd prefer to collect yourself. RARE POWER is here to support your MRO.
QEC: This is short for Quick Engine Change and is from the airline industry. All of the key components are already fitted and the only operational delay should be the time taken to replace the old engine.
Form 8130: An FAA Form 8130-3 is the Authorized Release Certificate and Airworthiness Approval Tag, used to certify that an aircraft part, component, or entire aircraft is airworthy and approves return to service. It may be issued by an authorized FAA-approved repair station (CRS), or an FAA Aviation Safety Inspector (ASI).
The EASA equivalent is the EASA Form 1.
Other ICAO countries have their own, similar Standards & Recommend Practices (SARPs).

Instalment Payment: This allows the owner or operator to lock in their maintenance reserves and secure a freshly overhauled engine at the current price, for collection in the future when the replacement is needed. The replacement will be ready and waiting. We can even arrange delivery and the collection of your core.
Exchange: All of RARE POWER's engines & parts are exchanged for your unserviceable part. The "core charge" is refunded as soon as our repair partner has inspected it and verified it's not beyond economical repair. All parts are collected from or returned to, our centrally located offices.
